Madrid Intrnational Disc Golf is honored to celebrate the second edition of the Madrid Open: 

INTERMAD by Mad Disc Golf (PDGA)

Once again, this tournament is part of the Copa de España (Spanish disc golf tour) and will be the fifth scoring event (more information about the Cup on the AEDG website).

DATE AND PLACE:

The event is registered as PDGA-C and will be held on September 10 and 11, 2022 at the Polvoranca Park (Madrid).

CATEGORIES

The categories offered for this event are:

• Open, (Cash prizes)
• Women,
• Masters 40,
• Masters 50,
• Amateur AM1,
• Beginners AM4 and
• Juveniles MJ18.

We remind those who are registered in the Spanish Cup, that in order to join the Cup according to their result in the Intermad, they have to register in the event in the same category they are registered in the Cup.

Taking advantage of the responses of the satisfaction survey of the last edition (52,5 %), we are NOT going to give TROPHIES. This way we can allocate that money to reward more players in each category and distribute more of the money we give back with vouchers to spend in disc golf stores.

Also, and respecting the majority of last year's responses (55%), we will keep the playing groups separated by categories from Round 1.

The PAYOUTS will be published as last year (Intermad payouts 2021)

REGISTRATION, FEES and PLACEMENTS

• CAPACITY: The tournament has a capacity of 90 places (18 holes and 5 players per card). 
  Of the total 30% (according to PDGA rules) has been reserved for club members.
   
• REGISTRATION STAGES: There will be two registration phases, or stages through this form. 
  The first phase will last one week and will be only for players who are part of the Spanish Cup, as indicated by the AEDG. 
  The next and final phase will be for everyone and will be open until shortly before the tournament, or until full capacity is reached.
  
  PHASE I (Spanish Cup players) → Start: June 1 - End: June 15 (23:59).
  PHASE II (Open to everyone) → Start: from June 15 (00:00) - August 1 (23:59).
   
• FEE: The registration fee will be a one-time fee of 25€.
   
• PLAYER PACKAGE: All players, except those in the MPO division will receive a free tournament t-shirt included in their player package. 
  If you want to buy an extra tournament t-shirt the price is 15 €.
   
• PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION: Pre-registrations must be made through this form and will not be confirmed or final until the payment of the fee is made in the MIDG club account in the name of 'Hector Triano Alcantara' our treasurer IBAN: ES49 1465 0340 51 1719741199.
  
  The concept of the payment must contain "Registration Intermad II - [Category] - [Player's name]".

FORMAT OF PLAY and COURSE

• FORMAT: All categories will be played in 3 rounds of 18 holes.
   
• FIELD: The competition course will be a TEMPORARY course set up in the Polvoranca Park, with 18 baskets of minimum PDGA Basic quality and natural tees.
   
• PLAYOFFS: Once the final course configuration is established, the playoff holes will be published.
