Fecha
El torneo se celebrará el martes 28 de febrero de 2023.
¿Por qué esa fecha? Queremos aprovechar que varios jugadores extranjeros vendrán a España con motivo del VI Open de España organizado por CRK y queremos darles la opción de jugar y conocer nuestro nuevo campo.
Campo
El campo de juego será el nuevo campo 'Complutense Disc Golf Course'.
El campo está en el campus de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, en la zona sur del parque de la Dehesa de la VIlla.
Si vas a participar en el Open de España, el campo está a 15 minutos en taxi de la estación de Chamartín con trenes a Oviedo.
El torneo
El King of the Hill es un torneo en el que podrás
- Jugar un poco disc golf,
- Conocer el primer campo de disc golf permanente de Madrid,
- divertirte y conocer otros jugadores,
- entrenar de cara al VII Open de España,
- Sumar un nuevo campo a tu lista de campos jugados,
- Ayudar a desarrollar el disc golf local, y
- Ayudar a otros con tu contribución.
Formato
El Formato del torneo será a 36 hoyos. Se jugarán 2 rondas a lo largo del día.
Es un torneo de un solo día.
Horario
Horario: se jugarán dos rondas.
El torneo funcionará sin horarios determinados para las rondas y será con salida flexible para que cada jugador la juegue cuando mejor le parezca siempre y cuando haya la menos 2 jugadores o más en la tarjeta y dejen espacio suficiente con el resto de jugadores/tarjetas en juego.
- Ronda 1 - 09:45 h.
Una hora de descanso. - Ronda 2 - 14.:00 h.
Precio
No existe un precio de inscripción obligatorio, pero sugerimos una donación simbólica de al menos 5 €.
El torneo es benéfico y utilizaremos los beneficios en mejorar las condiciones del campo (ateriales para los tees, limpieza de ramas...), comprar herramientas de trabajo (guantes, palas, rastrillos, bolsas de escombros...).
El ser un torneo categoría C-Tier aprobado por la PDGA conlleva una tasa de registro en la PDGA de 25 €, todo lo recaudado de más será donado.

When?
February 23rd 2023, tuesday.
Why that date? We want to take advantage of the VII edition of the Open de España organized by CRK taking place in Oviedo (North of Spain) and give the oportunity to foreing players know the first Disc Golf course in Madrid.
Where?
The Course - The course will be 'Complutense Disc Golf Course' .
The course is a 15 minute taxi ride to the Chamartin train station to Oviedo, the last train to Oviedo leaves at 18:30. Only 20 minutes from the airport. Safe luggage storage available on site.
What
King of the Hill is a benefit tournament where you can
- play some disc golf,
- know the first dg course in Madrid,
- have fun and meet other players,
- train a bit for the VII Spanish Open,
- add a new course to your list of courses played,
- help to develop the local disc golf and
- help others with your contribution.
Format
We will play 36 holes (2 rounds of 18).
It will be flexible start so you can play whenever it adjust better to you since there are 2 or more players in the card and you adjust to the course flow not affecting the rest cards/players.
Schedule
Two rounds. Flexible tee times.
The tournament will has flexible tee times to make it easy, we suggest the next tee times as refference:
- Round 1 - 09:45 h.
- Round 2 - 14.:00 h.
You can show up and run your round whenever you want since there is at least 2 players in the card. COnsider there will be more players running their rounds, so try to adapt to the course flow.
Player fee
It's free to play, but we suggest a 5 € payment as donation as it's a benefit tournament.
The tournament has benefit pourposes and we will use the money to improve the course facilites (upgrade tees, buy settings...).
The C-Tier PDGA tournament cost us 25 € to register on the PDGA, so we will donate all the extra money collected by the fees to a Disc Golf benefit organization.
